Data Collection
Natural Remedy is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your health data, including supplement tracking, goal progress, and check-ins, is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
When you sign in with Apple, your data is automatically synced to your private iCloud account for backup and cross-device access. This data is stored in your personal iCloud storage and is not accessible to Natural Remedy or any third parties.
What We Store Locally
- Supplement regimen and dosage information
- Daily supplement logs and adherence tracking
- Health goal selections and progress ratings
- Reminder preferences and notification settings
- Streak data and statistics
This data remains on your device and is not shared with Natural Remedy or any third parties.
Analytics
We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience, including:
- App opens and feature usage (no health data)
- Crash reports and error logs
- Device type and OS version
These analytics are anonymized and do not contain any personally identifiable information or health data. You can opt out of analytics tracking in Settings.

Third-Party Services
Natural Remedy uses Apple’s native frameworks:
- SwiftData for local data storage
- StoreKit for in-app purchases
- UserNotifications for reminders
- HealthKit (opt-in, Premium only) for health data integration
When you enable HealthKit integration, your supplement logs may be written to your Apple Health app, which is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.
Data Security
Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security features, including device passcode and biometric authentication. We recommend enabling these features for maximum security.
Natural Remedy does not have access to your data unless you explicitly use the export feature.
iCloud Sync
When signed in with Apple, Natural Remedy automatically syncs your data to iCloud:
- Automatically backs up your supplement regimen and logs
- Syncs data across all your devices
- Restores your data when you sign in on a new device
- Stores data securely in your private iCloud container
Sync happens automatically when you make changes and when the app goes to background. Your synced data is stored in Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure within your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and only accessible by you. Natural Remedy cannot access your iCloud data.
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Export your data at any time (Premium feature)
- Delete your account and all data from Settings
- Disable specific features or integrations
When you delete your account, all local data AND all cloud backups are permanently deleted. Deleting the app without signing out will remove local data but preserve cloud backups (accessible if you reinstall and sign in again).
Children’s Privacy
Natural Remedy is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you are under 18, please use this app with parental guidance and consent.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the “Last updated” date.
